Does the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 again review this a couple of times over but this something new here this has Intel 7th generation KB Lake CPUs inside so what does that mean a little bit better battery life runs a little bit cooler this isn't anyway so it's Inspiron 13 runs coming a bunch of sizes what size is 13.3 inch they come in different series 3000 5000 and 7000 inch comes in five thousand thousand thousand thousand is the highest configuration this model 73 78 we have the starting price unit which is $749 that's nice we can figure it has 8 gigs of DDR3 RAM a 256 SSD Intel Core i5 - 251 Ultrabooks you can get with 16 gigs of RAM you can get bigger if you can see what there is to SSD SATA interface or not pcie sorry about that and here we have window coverings are in there single configuration but if you want to probably just for around $1,000 this is a controlled experiment so it's getting this now that you should be okay with that I would like to see that it is 12 year old who needs a laptop this is this is this is real metal here $50,000 in the previous generation this is very nicely I enjoy using the keyboard is not travel keyboard so there's that but if you want a lot of Legacy you're so it's a tradition for to get an SD card slot full size SD card slot a USB 2.0 port a USB 3.0 port and a USB keyboard doesn't through Thunderbolt 3 those sorry you know they want you to pay more to get that kind of future and you get HDMI out of course I headphone jack no display for. Again under $1,000 less common to see DisplayPort but at least you got HDMI cords wireless display stand with Windows 10 as well there is only one display resolution option 1920 by 1080 1080 full HD is an IPS display obviously is glossy like most touchscreen only option if you want something higher resolution look to a different product here again no official pen support not really even unofficially so Capacitive Stylus is all you can do subject that I'm she looks quite nice movies and videos photos of all the good on it but looking at it with the calibration device we can see that you know 220 Nitsa Brian is not the brightest thing out there so it's an outdoor locations not so much especially because it's fine for indoors and call them it is more limited than you would think 66% of srgb the around thousand-dollar products cover all of srgb or 95% only 50% of adobe RGB so for you photo and video Pros by the fact that it looks quite nice and really likes and color gamut that you would need for the rest of the world it's perfectly adequate and you can see the rest of the specs on screen they're all decent stuff that performance is a 15 watt dual core Ultrabook Intel 7th generation KB like again you got Core i5 - 7200 you and core i7 - 7500 you see if you options here we have the core i5 and it benchmarks well as you would expect it not that much different than the sky like it replaces unless you're looking a graphics cuz now we have Intel HD 620 grabbing some on my Nexus 7 to 10% improvement over skylights integrated HD 520 graphics and CPU just a tiny bit better there but you know little boost and Graphics helps is not a gaming laptop obvious is not dedicated graphics option but for casual games and older games and get away with it it's perfectly capable to be a main machine if you do office if you do casual photo and video editing on occasion beginning software developer that sort of thing does the job just line the battery is 2 3 cell battery that's about average battery capacity for all the laptop of this size and the last generation is Franz 13 head okay battery life nothing special about six hours this is a little bit better cuz KB like it is a little bit more power-efficient say it's about six and a half hours with brightness sent to a not terribly tolerable 50% does not display and doing productivity work and streaming video forgot to do heavyweights. It will be short or some super duper Energizer Bunny not so much okay possible and then comes with a tiny tiny little break charger 45 Watts very portable round to get a 720p webcam up top and then Windows hello IR camera for facial recognition and login and you get Intel 3165 AC Wi-Fi that's Intel's lower and WiFi card plus Bluetooth those he 8116 for example but it's behaving pretty decently and our test there you have it the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series model for late 2016 early 2017 Intel 7th generation CPUs inside it's obviously if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of approach from Dell they haven't really changed the whole lot here and as a result it's still a really good bye in very well-made machine with a metal casing and all that goodness inside of it in terms of weight and thickness you know it's getting a little long in the tooth money to that said I do hope it's a little Slimmer I know they are designed to be kid friendly cuz a lot of folks by this for school on talking K through 12 not a college even so the thickness of durability.
